What a cool group of K9 hikers!!!
It's been quite a winter for our team of human and K9 hikers at K9X. I have so much news to share! We have been so focussed on winter hikes, creating a new website and moving shop, the blog and Facebook postings have fallen a bit behind. Time to remedy that!!!
Let's see...last Fall, Ashley Baylen joined our pack as a Hiking Leader and our resident Canine Behaviour Expert. Ashley is wonderful with both dogs and people and our clients love her! Check out Ashley's bio here.
Right around the time that Ashley joined our pack, Zoey joined us as a baby puppy. She is part of Ashley's group and what a lovely girl Zoey is growing into!!! She is now an adolescent Barbet and has turned into one of our "demo" dogs when we work with training clients and new hiking K9 clients!

More recently, Kobe joined our K9 hikers as part of Anesh's group! Kobe is a two year old Weimaraner and is a sweet boy! Kobe's dad has done a wonderful job with him making our jobs pretty easy. Kobe has a fantastic recall and is very well socialized with other dogs. Kobe already knew most of our trail rules before his first hike and by the end of his first hike, it was like he'd been hiking with us forever!

Rosie has also joined us once again while her owners are on vacation. Rosie is a six year old chocolate lab and although she's a bit of a slow poke, she is doing an amazing job being patient with all of the young and crazy dogs in her K9 hiking group. You can see Rosie in the group shot above.
Lastly, Merlin the Goldendoodle is the newest member of our pack! He is a big, fluffy very well-behaved boy. He fits in perfectly!
